린응사는 보트피플 중에 기적적으로 살아나 미국에서 정착한 한 명에 의해 2003년에 지어졌습니다.
공산장 집권을 피해 자유를 찾아 도피하던 보트피플 14,000여 명이 북베트남 군의 공격으로 수몰된 슬픔의 바다이기도 합니다.

당시 수장되었던 14,000명의 원혼을 달래기 위해 만들었는데, 당시는 베트남이 개방하기 전이기 때문에 누가 돈을 내고 무엇을 위해 만들었는지 비밀에 붙였다고 해서 '비밀의 사원'이라고 부르기도 합니다.

대웅전 앞 마당에는 아름다운 분재 작품들이 많이 놓여있습니다.

끝없어 보이는 바다가 절경이었습니다.(절에서 호이안까지 펼쳐진 미케비치 해안이 20km가 넘습니다)

종교가 없는 사람도 절로 고개가 숙여질 정도로 멋진곳입니다.

다낭 시내에서 선짜 반도 방향을 바라보면 산속에 흰 대리석상이 하나 보인다. 영흥사(=린응사=링엄사)의 해수관음상이다. 베트남에서 가장 큰 규모의 이 해수관음상은 30층 건물 높이에 해당하는 67높이를 자랑한다. 관광객들은 많이 오는 코스지만 현지인들에게는 종교적인 의미가 있는 장소이기 때문에 정성스레 기도드리는 신도들을 보면 엄숙한 느낌을 받을 수도 있다. Located on a hilly terrain with romantic view, Linh Ung Pagoda is revered as the masterpiece in terms of architecture, artistic and religious value. Stationed nearly 1,500 meters above the sea, where the sky meets the earth, and the Ying interconnects with the Yang, the Pagoda brings a flexible combination between contemporary style and traditional Vietnamese features. Linh Ung Pagoda in Ba Na hills, along with Ling Ung Pagoda in Bai But and Marble Mountains, creates a spiritual triangle around the beautiful beach city. Tourists will be undoubtedly impressed by the 27-meter-high Shakyakmuni Buddha Statue, with 6-meter-high lotus platform, considered as the highest Buddhism statue in the country. In addition, although the Pagoda completed in 2004, it still remains original and ancient Vietnamese pagoda structure, such as the lavish use of dragon image on the apex and four corners of upward-curved roofs. More than just a religious site, Linh Ung Pagoda has made a name for itself as a spiritual tourist attraction.
